Once a student orders a course and pays the required fee, the student is granted access to the course syllabus and study materials. Such access may be granted through an online learning management system and/or a link through which the student can access the study materials in downloadable form, which is available upon request.

All courses are developed by subject specialists and current college professors. All courses are available to be taken online.

Students have the freedom to prepare for examinations at their own pace without any set time constraints. Upon accessing the study materials, students are empowered to undertake or finish course assessments at their convenience. However, it’s important for students to be aware that Illuminated Degree retains the right to modify or enhance study materials or assessments for any course at any given time. In the event that study materials are updated while a student is in the process of studying, the student can request and will receive the updated materials without incurring any extra charges. It is the responsibility of the student to check whether a course has been updated between the time they initially received the materials and when they plan to take the final examination. Although there are no strict time limits for exam preparation, there may be restrictions on the time allocated for completing assessments in courses with multiple evaluations. Generally, English and Communications courses with multiple assessments, such as speeches and essays, must be finished within a period of six months.

Textbooks may be required for courses. In addition, there are usually nominal proctoring fees charged by proctoring systems that are used to proctor the final exams.
